Thank You For Joining the SE Center for Photography
By becoming a member of the SE Center for Photography, you are providing support for our programs including exhibitions, artist lectures, workshops, the SE Center Purchase Awards and more. In addition, you receive great benefits, like discounts on calls for submission and workshop tuition, member only exhibition opportunities, and invites to members only events.
You may have noticed the Membership signup when were registering for a Call. The discounted rate for submissions may be the most used benefit of becoming a member, and you should automatically see the discounted rate when you submit.
As a SE Center Member you have a workshop tuition discount of 10-15% depending on the workshop, but always better than the Early Registration Rate, and up until the workshop date (availability dependent). Please register using the SE Center Member’s rate.
We have had several great workshops this year,
Making Portfolio Boxes, Carol Lawrence
Making a Life as an Artist, Richard Tuschman
Gilding on Vellum, Wendi Schneider
Zen and Long Exposure Photography, Kevin Holliday
And coming in 2020, Doug Beasley and The Emotional Landscape
You will also receive advance notification of new workshops before the general public.
The SE Center website will host a Member’s Bookstore page. Just send us an image of your book, a brief description, and a link to the page where the item can be purchased and it will be included.
Scheduled for this coming January, the SE Center will host our Second Annual Members Only Juried Show, which is just what it says. The exhibition will coincide with our Members Gala January 25, 2020.
We are currently collecting Discounts for photographic good and services and will pass the along shortly, from digital printing to car rentals.
And finally, Smarter Entry hosts a Members Portfolio on the SE Center website. You can maintain your portfolio through your SE Profile.
If you ever have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please let me know.
Without you, the SE Center for Photography can not do what we love doing - promoting, educating, and exhibiting fine photography.
Thank you and hope to to see you soon,
Michael Pannier, Founder and Director
