This is a 4 day Zoom Workshop,

The full blown fires of Expressiveness start with just a SPARK.

Join us for a workshop bound to SPARK your imagination, inspire you to experiment, and ignite new ideas and imagery. We begin with exploration into color, emotion, and story, directly from your world. By getting a jump start in playful exercises, your imagination will be fueled with inspiration and connection.

Class time is spent viewing presentations of art and photographic visuals, brain storming ideas, sharing participant’s work, and gentle creativity coaching from Leanne. As we discover fresh ways to stretch the imagination, we open up our minds to see in this nurturing space and artistic classroom. By encouraging experimentation, we partake of the process and create from our very souls. Join us for this unique experience to ignite the SPARK in your work!

Who Should Attend:
All are welcome, including alumni to any of Leanne’s classes. The classes and exercises are designed for any skill level and the use of any camera. Digital SLRs, mirrorless, digital point and shoot are all suitable for this course. Apple iPhone users with digital workflow knowledge are welcome. Leanne meets each participant where they are.

What Participants Should Know:
This workshop is open to all photographers with a working knowledge of their camera, whether a DSLR, mirrorless, or an iPhone. If you wish to participate in image reviews, you will need a to be familiar with your digital workflow. This would include the ability to download your images to your computer or tablet, make selections, and screen share images during the class.

Leanne Trivett S. is a visual artist using her own photographs to explore experimental self portraiture, florals, abstract, and how obscure elements and emotion interact in the world.

She graduated with a BFA in Theatre from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in NY, NY. Her background in musical theatre and her experience performing as a professional singer have inspired her creation of characters and self expression through images and photography. She is best known for her colorful and current self portraits and her work with florals.

Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in venues like the Los Angeles Center for Photography, the Griffin Museum of Photography in Boston, PH21 Gallery in Budapest, etc. Her Work has been published and can be seen in several issues of Art Ascent International Magazine, Dodho in Barcelona for Monochrome Awards and the Color Awards 2022, Black & White Magazine, and in several special edition exhibition books. In the last year, she was chosen as Honorable Mention for The 18th Annual Julia Margaret Cameron Awards in 2022 in three categories, won second place in People and Portraits for Digital Photo 2022, received honorable mention in the ND Awards, and was the Host of the Masters Group Online.

She is currently a Gather Pro and is teaching at Sante Fe Workshops, SEC4P, and the Chicago Botanic Garden, all while continuing to create in her artist studio near Asheville, NC.

When we publish a workshop cost it includes everything. We won't surprise you with additional Materials Costs or Model Fees. If the workshop is all day at the SE Center, we provide lunch, snacks and beverages. Before you register you know the true cost of our workshops.
